IMF: Global Financial Stability Report 23.02.2017

The Global Financial Stability Report (GFSR) 2012 finds increased risks to the global financial system, with the euro area crisis the principal source of concern. The report urges policymakers to act now to restore confidence, reverse capital flight, and reintegrate the euro zone. In both Japan and the United States, steps are needed toward medium-term fiscal adjustment. Emerging market economies have successfully navigated global shocks thus far, but need to guard against future shocks while managing a slowdown in growth.

The World Economic Outlook Report a survey by the IMF staff usually published twice a year. It presents IMF staff economists' analyses of global economic developments during the near and medium term. The IMF Annual Report is a report of the IMF's Executive Board to the IMF's Board of Governors provided ahead of the Joint Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the IMF and the World Bank. The report reviews the IMF's activities and policies during the preceding financial year, ended April 30, and includes an audited statement of the IMF's accounts, as required by the IMF's Articles of Agreement.
