The High-level Committee on Management strategic plan for 2013-2016 identifies harmonization and simplification of business practices as a core activity of the Committee. UNDG: Standard Operating Procedures for countries wishing to adopt the Delivering as One approach 15.06.2016

Following the World Summit of 2005, where the need for UN reform was given new impetus, the Secretary-General appointed the High-Level Panel on System-Wide Coherence in 2006. In the report, entitled Delivering as One, the panel presented a series of recommendations aimed (amongst other issues) at strengthening the UN’s work in partnership with host governments, the UN’s focus on results, and creating unified UN Country Teams, with the capacity to coherently address cross-cutting issues.

UNDG: United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 23.02.2017

The UNDAF is the strategic programme framework for the UNCT. It describes the collective response of the UNCT to the priorities in the national development framework - priorities that may have been influenced by the UNCT’s analytical contribution. Its high level expected results are called UNDAF outcomes. These show where the UNCT can bring its unique comparative advantages to bear in advocacy, capacity development, policy advise and programming for the achievement of MD/MDG related national priorities.

The UNDG Toolkit was created for improved functioning of the UN development system at the country level.
