Advancing work on adaptation to climate change: A UN System perspective

This event showcased good practices and resources developed by the UN System in key areas of adaptation such as integrated land and water management, disaster risk reduction, food security and data collection and analysis within the broader framework of development planning, knowledge sharing and partnership building.

In addition to presentations by Executive Heads of UN system organizations, there was an interactive discussion with the audience. Discussions focussed on the adaptation needs of developing countries and what the UN system stands to offer.

Attendance was open to all COP15 delegates and observers.
