CEB reviewed the progress in the work of UN-Energy, UN-Water and UN Oceans. UN-Energy had established a family of practitioners across the system, produced five publications, and had become poised to play a major role in United Nations system issues management. UN-Energy’s efforts had contributed to the recognition that energy was a fundamental component in any discussion of economic integration, sustainable development and climate change.
