This document formulates a system-wide understanding of HR analytics terms and methods for the United Nations system. It provides a harmonized framework to support evidence-based decision-making and strengthen analytical consistency across organizations. It aims to inspire and align HR analytics practices within the UN system and beyond. It is not a prescriptive tool for organizations’ internal or external reporting and does not replace organization-specific policies, systems or reporting requirements.
The Framework is maintained as a living document by the HR Analytics Community of Practice, with support from the CEB Secretariat and oversight of the CEB Human Resources Network. It may be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect developments in HR policy, data standards, organizational practices and system-wide analytical requirements.
